Audiovisual material on Albalate’s anarchism

A small collection of audiovisual material relating to the anarchist history of Albalate de Cinca.

Fragments of audio from interviews conducted by dr. Willemse.

This consists of dr. Willemse’s documentary film ¡Ni peones, ni patrones! (1986), three uncut film rolls for the documentary film ‘De toekomst van ’36‘ (1983) featuring Albalate’s ‘organic intellectuals’ Félix- and Francisco Carrasquer Launed, and a newsreel of local television covering the unearthing of a mass grave of anarchists on the Campo de las Viñas, just outside town (Aragón en abierto, 2008).

On six occasions, interviewees burst out in song, often revolutionary. Twice, protagonists recited poetry. The texts to these poems are reproduced here, along with a fragment from ¡Ni peones, ni patrones!, showing José Oto Ezquerra (interviewee #20) perform.
